    Non-charting single from this Melbourne band. Guitarist Peter Waddell & bass player Don Bailes went on to play with Melbourne institution The Paul McKay Sound.
  7. Daisy Clover

    This original song made #27 in the band’s hometown of Melbourne, and was the first of two singles. Members included Mick Elliott (later of Sid Rumpo etc) and two future Town Criers, George Kurtiss & John Taylor. A later line-up included Chrissie Amphlett, pre-Divinyls.

    From extremely rare debut LP, released on their own label. This track features Jeannie Lewis on lead vocals; Broderick Smith also appears throughout (probably the debut recording for both). Only a few hundred copies made at most.

    12 piece international band with Glenn Shorrock, Janice Slater and Brian Holloway (ex-Somebody's Image). This song, taken from the Esperanto Rock Orchestra LP, was later recorded by LRB.

    Single taken from her LP That Girl Jones; reached #17 in Brisbane and #22 in Adelaide. ** This has a "Who's Who" backing Marcie including Phil Manning, Tim Gaze & Kinetics/Tin Tin's Steve Groves on guitars, Tweed Harris (The Groove) produced & is on keyboards, Barry 'Big Goose" Sullivan on Bass & Geoff Cox on drums + on backing vocals: Graham Goble & Beeb Birtles (their only B/V sesion work), Linda George, Bobby Bright, Mike Brady & Danny Robinson (Wild Cherries/Virgil Brothers)** The original version by First Choice was a hit the same year in the US.
